If your DS4 is 2015 onwards and has a touchscreen fitted then it supports Apple Car play.
Some DS4 touchscreen have the Carplay Icon already and some don't. As long as you have a touchscreen then the system is car play compatible.
You may also see this message "The Apple CarPlay function is not available on your system , you can acquire it from your dealer DS"
